“Providing
Signature Nail Services”
8 C.E. credit hours for Cosmetologists, Manicurists, or Teachers!
presented by Jill Skinner
Do you want to add nail services that are truly unique and not just the same old
thing? Spend a day learning how to create just that! We will spend the day experimenting
with four different types of manicures. (All of these could also be performed on the
feet.) You will actually get to try using or experience all four of these enticing
services. Get your hands into the chocolate manicure; the citrus manicure; the strawberries & cream
manicure; and the honey & nut manicure. You will learn how to create a Signature
Service in order to make you client feel more special. You will also learn how to make
your own Signature Products (at a very low cost) such as scrubs, soaks, mask and moisturizers.
Students will have the opportunity to practice hands on, manicures and pedicures, using
the products manufactured in class. If you are interested in increasing your bottom
line profit, this class is for you.
Comments from Jill’s Former Students:
- “My expectations of the class were exceeded in many ways! I was not expecting
Jill to present such an extensive variety of possible signatures services.”
- “I liked everything about this class. Jill is a wonderful speaker, interesting,
fun, and knowledgeable.”
- “Jill is the greatest! I’ve never had so much fun learning. Jill’s
product knowledge and ability to teach product use is amazing.”
You will need to bring your implements (including
a metal pusher or curette, clippers, and nippers), a sealable plastic container with
disinfectant, a manicure bowl or glass dish, and your favorite base coat, top coat,
and polish. We will supply all of the other products and disposables!

We are in the
process of scheduling more classes.
Please check back to this page soon!
Call 919-601-4941 for more information. |
Previously published Class Schedules have changed and are no longer valid.
*Class Enrollment Status:
- Open - Classes marked "Open" still have seats available.
- Nearly full - Classes listed as "Nearly full" are very close to
their seating capacity. Please call our Registrar at 919-601-4941 or 919-894-3701 before registering.
- Closed/Full - Classes marked "Closed/Full!" have reached the safe
seating capacity of the classroom or are limited for additional students. We cannot
reserve additional seats, and "walk-ins" with payment at the door are no longer
available.
A Note about Classes that Are TBA (To Be Arranged):
- Classes that are marked "TBA" (to be arranged) will probably be
held at one of the same hotel conference rooms where we generally hold classes in that
city. Most of those locations, however, do not give us a confirmed reservation any sooner
than 30 days in advance. It is safe to register for those classes.
- We will mail you directions and a map to the location as soon as it is confirmed.
Because these classes are all seminars or workshops, there are no tests.
You must only be on time and stay for the entire class. If you are
late for class, you will not get ANY credit for the class. Due to State Board Regulations,
there is no grace period for being late. Your ticket will still be good for THIS class, so you can attend
and learn, but you will not get ANY credit hours. You must attend the entire class to
get C.E. credit.
How to Register for Class
There are now FOUR ways to register for
Troutman’s classes!
Click on the button
at the far right of any class listing. It will show you specific details about that class.
When you decide which class you want to take, press the button.
That button will take you to the OnLine Registration Form for that class. It will be helpful
to complete the Registration Form no matter which method you use to pay the tuition for
the class. To pay the tuition by mail or by secure online payment with your debit or credit
card, you must complete a Registration Form. With the OnLine
Registration Form...
- You may mail your registration with your payment (check or money order). Do not send
cash through the mail. Cash is accepted at our office and for “At-the-Door” tuition
payment. Postmark your registration by the Cut-Off date (10 days before class) to qualify
for the Early Bird Tuition. Make checks or money orders payable to Troutman’s Technical
College.
You
may register for this class over the telephone with a debit or credit card. We will provide
the numbers when you have filled out the OnLine Registration Form and “started
the process.”
- Now you can pay using our secure on-line credit/debit card processing service, First
Data!

- You may fill out any form you have received in one of our
catalogs or brochures - indicating which class you want to attend and how we can get
in touch with you - and mail it with your payment or credit/debit card information.
